Lord, as I spend more and more time with You, I can hear Your voice more clearly. Please open my mind and heart to Your will, and let me not be distracted by false teachings. Make me an instrument of Your truth, peace and love. Draw me closer to You so I will not be misled by traditions and doctrines that do not lead to You.

I look around me this morning, Lord, and I see everything Your hands have made! The trees, shrubs, grass, flowers, sky, birds, people - everywhere I look, Your hand is there. Help me to not only see all that You have made, but to feel Your closeness at all times in all that I do. I magnify Your name and thank You for all that You are - Creator of the universe!
