Father, it is a hard lesson to learn that our actions have
consequences that spread far beyond our own lives. When we fall into
sinful behavior, it is as if a rock has been thrown into a quiet lake,
the ripples spreading far beyond the point of initial contact. Guard our
lives that we may grow to live in peace and grace.
