Lord,
as Christians we are called upon to be generous to our neighbors. Help
me to model this before my children, that they will see the joy that
comes from cheerful giving and being kind to others. Thank You for being
our example, empowering us to perform this sacred duty. Give me the
strength and the will, that Your character may be seen in me.
