Dear Lord, I want to know You and serve You. I want to be about Your business while I live. Help me to use these hands You've given me to reach out to others; these feet to walk the path You would have me go. Give me the right words to speak with my mouth. Imbue me with spiritual eyesight and discernment, and touch my ears that I may hear clearly and be attentive to those in need. Guide me, Lord, that I may fulfill Your command to go and make disciples of those who will believe the Good News of our soon coming King!

Creator, God, our heavenly Father, You cause Your sun to shine on the evil and the good; You send the rain to fall on the righteous and the unrighteous. In Your Word, You promise abundant blessings to us when we are obedient. Our hearts want to be obedient, yet we struggle because our own desires overtake us and we allow the world to crowd You out. Lord, I pray for all people who are called by Your name. What are You calling us to be or do today? Open our hearts and ears to hear You, Lord.

Lord, the things my child is saying these days! I don't know how to handle this situation. My child's words are cutting to both her father and me. Give me the right words to say to curb this kind of trash talk. This baby that I once held in my arms is growing up and I want her to grow up in You, and to follow You. Give me the wisdom I need to guide my child to You through my own thoughts, words, and deeds. Help us to be examples of Your character in front of her in our home.

1 I bless the holy name of God with all my heart. 2 Yes, I will bless the Lord and not forget the glorious things He does for me.
3 He forgives all my sins. He heals me. 4 He ransoms me from hell. He surrounds me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things! My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! 6 He gives justice to all who are treated unfairly. 7 He revealed His will and nature to Moses and the people of Israel.
