As we come to the end of the “31 Days of Prayer for Your Wife” series, Bridget and I can’t express in words how thankful we are that so many husbands and wives contacted us and responded on-line to these short and powerful prayers.
We feel that if one prayer brought one husband and wife closer to each other and closer to the Lord, the series did what it was supposed to do. So you can imagine how excited we are, knowing so many wives were blessed by the prayers of their husbands who found these words to be expressions of what is in their hearts for their wives.
These prayers covered so many topics that are relevant to the experiences married couples navigate through every day and it has been a blessing for us to share them.
We are reminded in James 5:16 that “…the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” A righteous man is a praying man and we pray that our brothers in Christ continue to pray for their wives, so that she can be all she was created to be for herself, her husband, her children, and for the purpose the Lord has for her.
